I have no idea how many people will actually respond to this, but I was really curious as to what everyone's opinions are of Art. What defines art, who gets to say "this is art, this is not art" etc. It's especially interesting when you get into a debate about it with someone who isn't creative at all. Besides the point, I encourage your response! I would love to know


For the record, my opinion of art is something visual that is a product of ones emotions. As far as technique goes, I can't really say, I can prefer something over the other, but someone who draws a bunch of lines vs. a person who paints a masterpiece, there is no real choice.
